 There are many ways to remember people: some remember by color, style, appearance, personality, and tone. In my case, I remember people by their smell. Smell has a strong allure; each person has a distinct scent, yet sometimes a similar aroma can evoke memories of a specific individual. I’m sure you’ve had a similar experience. Take a moment to reflect on my exhibition and reminisce about the people you care about or love, as well as the friends you miss. Consider the shape and the emotions associated with their scent.

I created this work to express my feelings of longing for my parents in my hometown and my friends in various countries. Additionally, I wanted to provide some comfort for myself, as I’ve been studying abroad for a long time, and for my friends who are going through similar experiences.
